An LPV-Based Online Reconfigurable Adaptive Semi-Active Suspension Control with MR Damper

This study introduces an online reconfigurable road-adaptive semi-active suspension controller that reaches the performance objectives with satisfying dissipativity constraint. The concept of model is based on a nonlinear static Magnetorheological (MR) damper considering bi-viscous and hysteretic behaviors damper. input saturation problem has been solved by using proposed method in literature allows integration actuator initial system to create Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) system. control meets constraint; therewith, constraint fulfilled. reconfiguration adaptivity external scheduling variable trade-off between driving comfort road holding/stability. design LPV framework. adaptive compared passive Bingham Simulink simulation, then validated TruckSim environment. results show better than controlled model.
